Richard A. (Dick) Gusella

Richard A. (Dick) Gusella - Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gusella was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Connacher from 2001 to May 2010. Prior thereto, he was the President of Gusella Oil Investments Limited, a private oil and gas corporation, as well as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Carmanah Resources Limited, a public oil and gas company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Gusella was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sceptre Resources Limited from 1979 to 1991 during which time the company grew from approximately 500 boe/d to 50,000 boe/d. He is a past chairman of IPAC prior to its combination with CPA to form CAPP.

Peter D. Sametz

Peter D. Sametz - President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Sametz has approximately 30 years of experience in the oil industry. He graduated with high distinction as an Engineer from Carleton University in 1979 and has worked with large, intermediate and junior companies, managing up to 40,000 boe/d of production. His industry expertise has been further drawn upon for technical papers, lectures, and domestic and international consulting services, primarily focused on the heavy oil industry.

Richard R. (Rick) Kines

Richard R. (Rick) Kines - Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kines holds a C.A. designation and has been with Connacher since 2002. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June, 2003. He has over 25 years experience, in public practice and with various oil and gas and oil service companies.

Cameron Todd

Cameron Todd - Senior Vice President, Operations, Refining & Marketing

Mr. Todd has over 25 years of experience in all areas of the oil and gas industry. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1980. He has been involved in many of the managerial facets of production operations and marketing both in Western Canada and internationally. Mr. Todd has extensive experience in South American oil and gas production, primarily in Argentina. Mr. Todd is responsible for all of Connacher's oil sands production operations, the company's refining and marketing activity and its health, safety and environment ("HSE") portfolio.

Steve De Maio

Steve De Maio - Vice President, Project Development

Mr. De Maio holds an MBA, a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and is a P.Eng. He has most recently been consulting to Connacher as Deputy Project Manager, Great Divide. Prior to joining Connacher, Steve was Oil Sands Project Consultant to another independent oil sands company, which was recently sold to a major international oil company.

Merle Johnson

Merle Johnson - Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Johnson graduated as an Engineer with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan and received his MBA from the University of Calgary. He is a Professional Engineer with 13 years of experience in the oil and mining industries and has been involved in oil sands for the past 8 years. Merle is responsible for the company's production, drilling and reservoir engineering functions, with a primary emphasis on the management and development of Connacher's unconventional bitumen properties at Great Divide. Prior to Connacher, Merle’s roles have included production, development and facility engineering.

Steve Marston

Steve Marston - Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Marston holds a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. He has close to 25 years of industry experience with both major and independent oil companies. Most recently he was employed for four years by a successful independent oil company in the position of Chief Geophysicist. Mr. Marston is responsible for the company's overall exploration activity, with a near term emphasis on Connacher's geological and geophysical evaluation program at its Great Divide oil sands property.

Grant Ukrainetz

Grant Ukrainetz - Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Ukrainetz holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, which he received with distinction in 1987. He received the C.A. designation in 1990 and completed the Canadian Securities Course (Honours) in 1992. Following a three-year period of employment from 1991 to 1994 with a Canadian chartered bank, Grant held various accounting and financial positions for seven years with the Canadian subsidiary of a major integrated oil company. Since 2001 he was a treasury and risk management analyst and then Supervisor, Treasury with one of Canada's largest international exploration and production companies and was Treasurer of Connacher since 2006.

Brenda G. Hughes

Brenda G. Hughes - Assistant Corporate Secretary

Mrs. Brenda Hughes, CA, has joined Connacher's corporate group as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Brenda has had extensive experience in all facets of financial accounting and governance in the oil and gas, and other industries. She will be assisting Connacher in the regulatory and corporate areas to streamline business efficiency and deal with the growing governance issues that abound for public companies. She will also be working in close liaison with Connacher's external counsel to bring some of the reporting functions now handled externally, in house.

Scott Carrothers

Scott Carrothers - Treasurer

Mr. Carrothers has been employed in the energy industry for over 20 years with private as well as senior and medium sized public companies. He has worked in the oil sands, conventional upstream, midstream and refining sectors. He has extensive experience in the areas of treasury management, capital markets financings, bank financings, structured finance, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Scott holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst and a Professional Engineer.
